Governor Makinde Signed Cooperation Agreement with Semmaris for Development of Agri-Food Market

Governor Seyi Makinde, on behalf of the Oyo State Government signed an agreement in Paris for strategic cooperation between Oyo State and Semmaris, France for the development of a modern Agri-food market in Ijaiye, Ibadan, Oyo State. Semmaris runs the Rungis International Market in Paris which we plan to replicate.

Oyo State leads as the first State in Nigeria to sign this agreement. The Rungis-style market in Ijaiye will be a major market for wholesale agricultural produce thus creating a ready market for our farmers.
